Thenceforward – through 4 decades – it was Mr. Beno Sipos and his family who tried to curry the the citizens’ favour in the district of Terézváros. A group photo of the late members of the regular table that can be seen on the wall of the Gastro Corner provides its evidence. Király 100 Gastro Corner today is one of the most popular restaurants in Budapest where famous artists, sportsmen and politicians like to reserve table frequently. It is debated whether our success is gained through the good atmosphere or the excellent dishes accompanied by the tasty Hungarian wines. The uncovering of this secret has been waiting for you.

SIGHTS IN THE SURROUNDINGS
Our gastro corner is within an easy reach by the yellow underground but it also provides a convenient walking distance from the Teréz square. Next to us you can find “Andrássy út” the famous street that has been part of the world heritage since 2002. Andrássy út is the bond that connects Hősök tere (Square of the Heroes) and the capital by the help of the yellow underground. Along Andrássy út you can find famous places and buildings such as the Hungarian Opera House, the Post Office Museum, the Dreschler palace, the bBroadway of Pest, the Oktogon, the Museum of the House of Terror. In the other direction you can visit Kodály Körönd and certainly the Square of the Heroes embraced by the Town park (Városliget) where you can visit the Museum of Arts and the Art Gallery. By following Rózsa street you can get to the Square of Roses that boasts with its Church of Saint Elizabeth Parish of the House of Árpád planned by Imre Steind.
